Scuba @ Lake Tahoe - 18 August 2001
We took a group up to dive in Lake Tahoe. Freshwater means no salt to mess up your gear, but there was little aquatic life to see there. Clear water with distinct thermal layers, but not even close to the cold water of the Monterey Bay. Plus all of the new calculations you have to do since you are diving at over 7,000 feet above sea level. We had some great dives and earned a truly unique specialty as well.
